Norway rules that Muslim who screamed “F**k Jews” is not guilty of “hate speech”

I oppose all “hate speech” laws. What constitutes “hate” is a subjective judgment. Whoever gets to decide what is and isn’t “hate speech” essentially controls the public discourse, and there is no longer a free society. What’s more, this case shows that “hate speech” laws are essentially tools to protect Islam and Muslims from criticism; they don’t really apply to any other group or belief system.

“Norway Rules ‘F**k Jews’ Remark by Muslim Rapper is Not Hate Speech,” Sputnik News, January 11, 2019 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

Norwegian Muslim rapper Kaveh, who was accused of inciting racism for saying “f**k Jews” during a concert last summer, said the remark was taken out of context and misinterpreted, insisting that he is neither a racist nor an anti-Semite.

After reviewing the report filed against 23-year-old rapper Kaveh over allegations of inciting anti-Semitism during a family concert last summer, Norwegian police found no evidence of hate speech and decided to close the case, the Dagen Christian newspaper reported.

Please send me, as a comment to this page, any old material you have for inclusion in The Daily Joke Alert - to help enable us all to have our fancy tickled regularly! Never mind the state it's in as I tidy everything up prior to publication. Don't let good material go to waste - and so much does. In the interests of the environment we should always try to re-cycle everything, especially jokes. You know that makes sense! You may find some historical stuff here, but this does not really matter as humor is fairly timeless.
