General Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, stated in reference to former Minister of the Knesset Gonen Segev, “While the affairs of corruption are about to suffocate the Israeli prime minister, whose cabinet ministers have become a source of information for Iran and under whose feet hundreds of kilometers of tunnels have been dug, he creates unnecessary noise and still claims that his regime enjoys intelligence superiority.” This barb aimed at Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu pushed the disgraces Knesset Minister Segev, who was recently sentenced to eleven years in prison, after he agreed to a plea bargain deal with prosecutors, while making threats about superior Iranian intelligence abilities as well as the terror tunnels which Israel has been detecting and destroying.
