Sweden: Half of women in early 20’s feel unsafe, government ramps up “anti-hate” policing

“Statistics released by the Swedish criminal statistics agency Brå reveal that 42 percent of women aged 20 to 24 feel insecure in their everyday lives, fearful they could be victims of various crimes….The report comes after another report released by Brå last July which showed nearly half of the women living in ‘vulnerable areas,’ often referred to as no-go zones, felt insecure in their own neighbourhoods” after dark.

But safety be damned. Offending Muslims is of greater urgency for the Swedish government, which has been labeling as “hate crime” anything that might offend Muslims. So Swedish women not only fear for their safety, but they are also being silenced for expressing those valid fears. Most of those reported to be guilty of “hate crimes” are women over 65. Forget about the Muslim men assaulting women, and forget about the no-go zones. The police are too afraid to deal with them, and have no support from government.

Please send me, as a comment to this page, any old material you have for inclusion in The Daily Joke Alert - to help enable us all to have our fancy tickled regularly! Never mind the state it's in as I tidy everything up prior to publication. Don't let good material go to waste - and so much does. In the interests of the environment we should always try to re-cycle everything, especially jokes. You know that makes sense! You may find some historical stuff here, but this does not really matter as humor is fairly timeless.
