Six retired Floridians were playing poker in the condo clubhouse when Meyerwitz loses $500 on a single hand, clutches his chest, and drops dead at the table. Showing respect for their fallen comrade, the other five continue playing standing up.
Finkelstein looks around and asks, “So, who’s gonna tell his wife?” They cut cards. Goldberg picks the two of clubs and has to carry the news. They tell him to be discreet, be gentle, don’t make a bad situation any worse.
“Discreet? I’m the most discreet person you’ll ever meet. Discretion is my middle name. Leave it to me.”
Goldberg goes over to the dead man’s apartment and knocks on the door. His wife answers through the door and asks what he wants? Goldberg declares: “Your husband just lost $500 in a Poker game and is afraid to come home.
“Tell him to drop dead!” yells the wife.
Greece’s former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Kotzias, in an interview on November 20, disclosed — for a second time — that he sent to the prosecutor 93 cases that involved Greek diplomats issuing visas to unaccompanied children in order to facilitate illegal removal of their organs. These diplomats are already in jail. “The fact that I saved a few souls will make me sleep quietly when my life is over,” Kotzias said.
The first time Kotzias revealed illegal trafficking of organs from children in Greece was in October 2018, when he said:
“We sent 93 cases to the Prosecutor, highly evaluated ambassadors went to jail, but the press did not write about them. Because the person who gives a visa in Constantinople [Istanbul] to an unaccompanied child is not just a criminal, he is traitor. A visa for a 14-month-old unaccompanied baby and they tried to cover it up for him.”
These cases are the tip of the iceberg. According to an April 24, 2018 report in the newspaper Kathimerini, there are thousands of unaccompanied children in Greece who have illegally entered the country, and government authorities have not turned their attention to them. Kathimerini reports that there are 3,050 unaccompanied child migrants in Greece, of whom 1,272 (42%) are either homeless, or live in a non-permanent residence or in an unknown location. They all face the risks of sexual exploitation and illicit organ removal.

“The lives of 19 religious men and women martyred during the Algerian civil war are a testament to God’s plan of love and peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims, Pope Francis said.”
A more serious analyst would note that they were, after all, murdered, so they might not be that great a testimony to peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims. But this is the Pope who has said that “Muslim terrorism does not exist.” So he affirms that “by beatifying our 19 brothers and sisters, the church wishes to bear witness to her desire to continue to work for dialogue, harmony and friendship,” ignoring the fact that the murder of these people drowned their desire for “dialogue, harmony and friendship” in their own blood. There may be some room for dialogue, but only if it is informed and realistic, not based on wishful thinking and willful ignorance.
“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14)

t isn’t often that a book can revolutionize the general understanding of an entire concept, and can lead to a fresh way of approaching a problem that had hitherto stymied even the most acclaimed experts in the field. Such a book is Jamie Glazov’s remarkable Jihadist Psychopath: How He Is Charming, Seducing, and Devouring Us; if heeded, his book could do nothing less than break the West out of the suicidal death spiral in which it seems inextricably caught today.
Jihadist Psychopath is most certainly the first book to tackle head-on, from a new and entirely unexpected angle, the odd phenomenon that has played out with such dreary regularity over the last two decades. After every jihad terror attack, the focus of the international media — and even government and law enforcement officials — is never on telling the truth of what happened and formulating ways to protect citizens more effectively from this threat in the future. Instead, the focus is on Muslim communities as the victims, as if, in a total inversion of reality, the attackers had been non-Muslims targeting Muslims.
This inversion of reality manifests in innumerable ways. There is, immediately after the attack, the flood of news articles about how the local Muslim community is shocked — shocked! — by the attack. We are told that when mosque members first heard about the attack they prayed that the culprit was not a Muslim, and that they didn’t know the attacker; if the evidence is unmistakable that they did, we are told he had gotten angry despite the imam having preached peace and tolerance. We are told that this embattled and unjustly blamed community now fears a backlash from racist, redneck, non-Muslim yahoos. We are told that President Trump is largely responsible for the climate of fear in which Muslims in America must live today, and that “Islamophobia” is at record levels.
