Over 23 million girls in Nigeria are victims of child marriage. 32 million, meanwhile, have suffered female genital mutilation as well. But what do these practices have to do with Islam? Bukhari 5.58.234 and Umdat al-Salik e4.3, respectively. And as they foster mass migration and open borders, globalists apparently believe that deeply ingrained religious indoctrination magically disappears upon migration. And just in case they do not disappear, everyone else must accept such practices, because it is “Islamophobic” not to do so.
Already the UK is considering raising the minimum age of marriage in order to try to stop forced child marriage.
French President Emmanuel Macron is learning the perils of defying the will of his own people to serve a globalist agenda. The French president has made it his mission to lead the globalist assault on fossil fuels to stem further increases in man-made greenhouse emissions. He vowed to “make our planet great again,” after sharply criticizing President Trump’s decision to withdraw the United States from the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. After convening the first One Planet Summit in Paris in late 2017 and continuing to lecture the world about the need for drastic actions to combat climate change, President Macron showed he was willing to use his own people as sacrificial lambs. He proposed steep fuel-tax increases to take effect this January, with more to come in subsequent years. The purpose was to raise the price of carbon use in France. The French people rose up in protest at a level not seen since the 1960’s. The yellow vest became the symbol of what began as protests by French drivers against higher diesel fuel prices. The protests, at times accompanied by violence, expanded to vent the grievances of ordinary people feeling squeezed by President Macron’s economic agenda. At first, President Macron would not budge. However, as the street protests in Paris and other parts of France showed no signs of abating, the Macron administration decided Tuesday to suspend the planned fuel tax increases for at least 6 months. France’s Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, not the aloof President Macron, announced the suspension decision. “No tax is worth jeopardizing the unity of the nation,” Prime Minister Philippe said in explaining the government’s decision.
The report below states that “the blunders of German officials spurred heated responses from traditional Muslims” at an Islamic conference in Berlin dubbed “Islam in Germany,” where “the two sides seemed to take their positions in the fight for the future of Islam in Germany, and across Europe.” The biggest blunders by Germany were its failed open-door immigration plan and its kowtowing to Muslim lobbies in the name of diversity, out of fear of being called “racist Islamophobes.” The goal of Germany should be to assimilate Muslims and foster their respect for democratic institutions. The recent Islamic conference in Berlin was a farce, and indicated the troubling extent that Germany (and Europe) is becoming Islamized. Currently, Salafism is the fastest growing Islamic movement in Germany.
At that same conference, Germany’s Integration Ministry undersecretary Serap Güler wearing a mini-skirt during a panel discussion. Stuttgart-based freelance journalist Yüksel Aktay said on Facebook: “Madam, how you dress in your private life, it is none of our business…however when you go to the Islamic conference, you have to be decent and virtuous.” Güler has no obligation to conform to the Islamic norms of decency and virtue. And yet another issue at that conference became explosive: the serving of blood pork sausages for those who were non-Muslims. This was regarded as an insult to the sensitivities of Muslims and blew up into a #BloodSausageGate.
The article below also states that “tensions have risen in Germany thanks in part to groups like the far-right, anti-immigrant Alternative for Germany party, which sees Islam as incompatible with German values.” Sharia is indeed incompatible with democracy, and the best of Islamic scholars and leaders, straight from Al Azhar, would be the first to agree.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Russia and Sweden have fought 12 wars over the course of their histories. In recent years, relations have grown tense once again between the expansionist superpower and the peaceable Scandinavian state. At issue is the Baltic Sea as an energy source.
Last April, in a move that has been repeated quite a few times over the past couple of years, the Swedish authorities issued a warning to civilian maritime traffic in the Baltic Sea. The warning was about military drills and missile tests being conducted by the Russian Navy in an area very close to the southern Swedish city of Karlskrona, home to a key naval base.
Then, in May, the Swedish government sent a booklet to every household in the country detailing how to prepare for and resist a foreign invasion. “The level of preparedness for peacetime emergencies is an important basis of our resilience in the event of war,” the booklet said.
A month after that, Sweden marked its national day by calling up 22,000 reservists for the country’s largest national exercise since 1975.
JAKARTA (Reuters) – Tens of thousands of Indonesian Muslims held a rally in Jakarta on Sunday led by hardline groups who had agitated to remove the city’s Christian governor, underscoring the growing influence of Islamist groups ahead of elections in 2019.
The rally was attended by former general, Prabowo Subianto, a nationalist with strong links to Islamists who is seeking to topple President Joko Widodo in next year’s polls after being narrowly defeated in 2014 during a bitterly fought campaign.
The crowd, many of whom were dressed in white and carrying Islamic flags, started gathering at Jakarta’s National Monument from around 3 a.m. to hold prayers.
“We are proud because the Islam in Indonesia is Islam that unifies and is united and will maintain peace for everyone,” Subianto said in a speech.
On November 20, 2018, the United States District Court in Michigan ruled that the federal law which criminalized Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) more than twenty years ago is “unconstitutional”, and cannot be used to prosecute the doctors and mothers of the very young girls who were brought to be genitally mutilated in Livonia, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. (See United States of America v. Jumana Nagarwala, et al, 2018 WL 6064968.)
There were eight defendants. A doctor in Michigan, Dr. Jumana Nagarwala, herself a member of the Dawoodi Bohra sect of Indian Islam, was accused of mutilating the genitalia of nine girls from three states: Michigan, Illinois, and Minnesota. Another doctor, Dr. Fakhruddin Attar, is accused of having allowed Dr. Nagarwala to use his now-shuttered clinic in a Detroit suburb. Two other women, Farida Attar and Taheri Sharia, clinic employees, were also accused of having assisted Dr. Nagarwala. The mothers of the girls were also charged: Farida Atif, Fatima Dahodwala, Haseena Halfal, and Zainab Hariyanawala.
The World Health Organization has spelled out the extraordinary harm and suffering that FGM causes. This includes pain so severe that it can cause shock and trauma; serious infections; urinary problems for life; scarring that makes urination, menstruation, intercourse, and childbirth forms of torture; inability to ever experience sexual pleasure; a fistula which leads to being ostracized and which requires surgery which may not be available; obstetrical complications; and to lifelong psychological post-traumatic stress disorder.
