Sri Lanka: Muslim groups say “female circumcision is an obligatory Islamic duty,” condemn moves to ban it

A number of Sri Lankan Muslim groups have called on the government to medicalise female circumcision.

The expansion of the Sharia continues, aided by the lies that non-Muslims are told. The goal is to institutionalize the Sharia everywhere, as stipulated in Islamic doctrine and law. The truth about female genital mutilation (FGM) is ably presented by “members of the All Ceylon Jamiyathul Ulama, All Ceylon YMMA Conference, Centre for Islamic Studies and United Religions Initiative,” who submitted to the Sri Lankan government:

We wish to categorically state that the practice of female circumcision is an obligatory Islamic duty, that it confers numerous benefits and is not Female Genital Mutilation. As such we condemn all moves to ban the practice of female circumcision by legislation and/ or by government bodies and urge that no moves be taken in this direction which we will regard as an unwarranted intrusion on and infringement of our religious duties guaranteed by the law and constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

Societies are increasingly under pressure from Islamic lobbies that only grow when appeased. It’s a global drive. This demand for institutionalized FGM in Sri Lanka will likely be echoed in other countries, despite the fact that FGM can lead to permanent health problems, infertility and even death.

Sri Lanka is predominantly Buddist (70.2%), followed by Hinduism (12.6), Islam (9.7%) and Catholicism (6.1%). Everywhere in the world, the House of War is challenged by the supremacist House of Islam.

Never mind the state it's in as I tidy everything up prior to publication. Don't let good material go to waste - and so much does. In the interests of the environment we should always try to re-cycle everything, especially jokes. You know that makes sense! You may find some historical stuff here, but this does not really matter as humor is fairly timeless.
