The Gas Man

One day, a little old lady went to see the doctor.
The kindly medical professional asked her, “What seems to be the problem, dear?”

She said, “Doctor, I have this problem with gas, but it really doesn’t bother me too much.

“My farts never smell, and are always silent.

“As a matter of fact, I’ve farted at least 20 times since I’ve been here in your office. You didn’t know I was farting because they don’t smell and are silent.”

The doctor said, “I see. Take these pills and come back to see me next week.”

The next week, the little old lady returned for her follow-up appointment.

“Doctor,” she said, “I don’t know what you gave me, but now my farts, although still silent, stink terribly…”

The doctor said: “Good! Now that we’ve cleared up your sinuses, let’s work on your hearing.”

Brexit news: Jacob Rees-Mogg exposes key loophole in Lords’ report on post-Brexit trade

Speaking on BBC Daily Politics, the Tory Brexiteer dismantled the latest House of Lords’ Brexit report which claimed food prices would soar immediately if the UK did not manage to negotiate a free trade agreement by the end of the transitional period.

Mr Rees-Mogg argued the Committee had completely ignored a fundamental World Trade Organisation rule that will allow the UK to maintain the same trading standards for ten years while negotiating a free trade deal with the EU.

He said: “The House of Lords has missed one very important thing.

UK: Funding Textbooks That Teach Children to Blow Themselves Up

In 2016, a study carried out by the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) found that for literacy in the developed world, England ranks dead last. The same study also stated that for numeracy in the developed world, England ranks second-to-last. Even among graduates from English universities, the OECD study found, one in ten had literacy or numeracy skills that were classified as “low”.

These results are astonishing, not to mention shaming. They reflect decades of misdirection in British education, including the misdirection of resources. Understandably, successive governments complain about a lack of resources. But all of those laments only serve to highlight the strangeness of Britain’s latest priorities in funding education.

This past weekend it emerged that last year the British government funnelled £20 million to Palestinian schools. A review by the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education (IMPACT-se) found that these revenues go towards funding a curriculum which omits teaching peace, promotes the use of violence — specifically jihad — and encourages martyrdom. An analysis of the textbooks used in Palestinian schools funded by the UK government — using UK taxpayers’ money — found that these textbooks, which come from the Palestinian Authority (PA), “exerts pressure over young Palestinians to acts of violence.”

A science textbook intended for 12-year-olds, for example, claims to teach them Newton’s second law of motion in the following way:

Palestinians: Abbas Targets Hamas, Then Condemns Israel for Targeting Hamas

The Palestinian Authority (PA), now calling for an international inquiry into the March 30 events along the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel, says that Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have the right to demonstrate and protest against Israel.

Ironically, however, when it comes to areas under the control of the PA in the West Bank, Palestinians are banned from staging protests in front of President Mahmoud Abbas’s “presidential” Mukata headquarters in Ramallah. In general, the PA leadership does not tolerate any form of criticism — which happens to be the reason that protests against Abbas and his government are virtually unheard of.

The only protests the PA accepts and welcomes are those directed against Israel. Yes, in PA-controlled territories in the West Bank, Palestinians can stage daily protests against Israel anywhere and at any time they wish! They can throw stones at IDF soldiers and Jewish settlers, and the Palestinian policemen will do nothing to stop them. Does any Palestinian, however, dare to throw a stone at a Palestinian policeman? You guessed it. Definitely not.

In a similar vein, the PA security forces feel free to arrest any Palestinian they want, even for the most trivial infraction. They are allowed to hold Palestinians in detention without trial and deny them visits by their family and lawyer. They are allowed to arrest any Palestinian journalists they wish for posting supposedly critical remarks on Facebook. Rami Samara, for instance, was arrested by PA security forces on April 3. for criticizing “arbitrary measures” taken by the PA against Palestinian journalists. Unwilling to face the strong protests by human rights organizations and Palestinian journalists, Abbas ordered the release of Samara hours after the journalist was taken into custody.

France: Soon with No Jews?

A year ago, in Paris, on April 4, 2017, Sarah Halimi, an elderly Jewish retired physician, was horribly tortured and murdered in her home in Paris, then thrown from her window by a man shouting “Allahu Akbar” (“Allah is the greatest”) . She had reported to the police several times that she was the victim of anti-Semitic threats — in vain.

Less than a year later in Paris, another elderly — and disabled — Jew, Mireille Knoll, was raped, tortured and murdered in her apartment by another Muslim extremist. Mrs. Knoll, a Holocaust survivor, had also contacted the police to say that she had been threatened. Again, the police did nothing.

For months, the French justice system tried to cover-up the anti-Semitic nature of Sarah Halimi’s murder; the judge in charge of Mireille Knoll’s case at least recognized the anti-Semitic nature of her murder at once.

Both women were victims of an anti-Semitic hatred that is rising quickly in France.

Labour faces fresh anti-semitism storm after by-election wannabe’s Holocaust jibe

LABOUR was hit with a fresh anti-semitism storm last night after it emerged the party’s leading candidate for next month’s Lewisham East by-election likened the Israel-Palestine conflict to the Holocaust.

Phyll Opoku-Gyimah, odds-on favourite to be the next Labour MP for the South East London seat, claimed Palestinians were victims of a “genocide”.

To mark Holocaust Memorial Day last year she wrote on Facebook: “Today is the day when we remember all those affected by the Holocaust, Nazi Persecution and subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Bosnia, Rwanda and Darfur – I’m adding Palestinian to the list”.

The alarming comments — unveiled by the Guido Fawkes website — risks reopening the incendiary row that has engulfed Labour over the last few weeks and cost the party crucial votes in last week’s local elections.

New York Times Exults Over Election of Malaysian Prime Minister With Sordid Anti-Semitic Record

he New York Times is hailing the election of a 92-year-old with a history of antisemitism as prime minister as “the greatest show of democracy” in Malaysian history.

“The optimism and energy of Election Day were a clear clue about the monumental result to come. At the polling station in the Lembah Pantai constituency, in Kuala Lumpur, for example, the camaraderie was palpable,” said the one opinion piece the Times has so far published about the election results, by Tash Aw. “Malaysians can exult in the knowledge that they took part of the greatest show of democracy this country has ever seen.”

Jews may be forgiven for failing to join in the exultation. As the Anti-Defamation League said in a tweet, “With Mahathir Mohamad again leading Malaysia, we cannot forget his decades-long record of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. The world cannot accept this from any leader.”

The Jewish Telegraphic Agency pointed to Mahathir’s more than 40-year record of antisemitism, from a 1970 book that said, “The Jews are not merely hook-nosed, but understand money instinctively,” through a 2012 blog post claiming “Jews rule this world by proxy.”

Molenbeek has 22 mosques — for 95,000 people. Why? – HopkinsWorld – Katie Hopkins

I’m here in Molenbeek, Belgium, otherwise known as the jihadi capital of Europe.

This place has been the breeding ground for the jihadis who have attacked us in Paris, in the Bataclan, at Charlie Hepdo. This is where they came from.

And in this tiny place, only 6km squared, population 95,000, there are in the order of 22 mosques.

So I went around the city with my trusty board, and labelled them, to show you how many mosques there are and ask the question:

Why do you have so many mosques in such a small area with such a small population?
