Blondie (3)

A blind guy sits down at a bar and shouts to the bartender, “Wanna hear a blond joke?”

In a hushed voice, the guy next to him says, “Before you tell that joke, you should know something. Our bartender is blond, the bouncer is blond. I’m a 6′ tall, 200 lb black belt. The guy sitting next to me is 6’2, weighs 225 pounds and he’s a rugby player. The fella to your right is 6’5″ pushing 300 and he’s a wrestler. Each one of US is blond. Think about it, Mister. Do you still wanna tell that joke?”

Nah, not if I’m gonna have to explain it five times.

The Scene Turned Ugly at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn

Beyond the Cusp

The rally was organized by extremist groups in the camp of Orthodox Jewry in both the United States and Israel who are against their congregants having to serve in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) because they believe that their willingness to study Torah, most of them, should exempt all of them from service just in case they decide they desire to study Torah today. These groups are part but not all of the Haredi movement. What is interesting is that in the United States the Haredi have normal lives, as they would see things. In Israel, many of the Haredi do not work and instead spend their days studying Torah, or so the argument is made. This is why they claim they should not be forced to serve in the IDF. They claim that according to Torah, their study brings about peace and that is their contribution to the safety…

Fox in the Hen House: Allowing Terrorists to Re-enter Prisons

Recent articles by the IPT and other news organizations have addressed the growing concerns regarding the upcoming release of over a hundred inmates convicted of terrorism related crimes. Experts have spoken on the lack of a bona fide strategy that will address the unique security issues presented when a terrorist is released. The need for post release specialized supervision programs is clear.

The one idea that should not be on the table is to allow them to re-enter prisons to speak with inmates as a religious volunteer. Yet this is exactly what has happened in the Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) for the last two years.

Edwin Lorenzo Lemmons, also known as Asad al Salaam, is an employee of the Muslim Chaplain Services of Virginia. He is licensed in the state as an Islamic clergyman authorized to perform marriages and other religious ceremonies. He has been issued a statewide pass to enter any VADOC facility and speak with inmates. He is currently teaching a class in Arabic for inmates. He is also an ex-offender. While that in itself is not unusual, many ex-offenders, in a desire to give back and help others in similar situations, have successfully done so. This particular ex-offender, Edwin Lorenzo Lemmons, (FBI # 939113RA3), is quite unique.

Violence against Women: Some Inconvenient Data for the Corrupt UN

The United Nations panels lovingly practice hypocrisy all the time. In 2016, a UN debate revolved around the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), which voted to blame Israel for Palestinian domestic violence. This year’s show was hardly different in the content of nonsense. The executive director of UN Watch, Hillel Neuer, asked Dubravka Simonovic, UN Special Rapporteur on Violence against Women, at a session on June 12: “Ms. Simonovic, in other words, what you are saying is as follows: ‘When Palestinian men beat their wives, it’s Israel’s fault.'”

At first glance it sounds like dark humor, but it is not. Not just one but two reports presented before the UNHRC by Simonovic argue that Israel is to blame for Palestinian violence against women, through “a clear linkage between the prolonged occupation and violence.”

Where, Neuer asked Simonovic, is the data? There is data, but not the kind that Simonovic would prefer to believe exists.

Astroturfing a lynch-mob

More and more brazen attempts are being made to intimidate into silence those of us who speak out against Islamist extremism as well as against those who try to sanitise it.

I am being subjected to such a campaign after discussing Islamist terrorism, along with the vehicular attack on Muslim worshippers in Finsbury Park, on Sky TV’s papers review last week. On this site, Sophia Akram accused me of “racist bile” and of delivering “an inflammatory, Islamophobic, and incorrect statement about 90% of the world’s Muslims”.

A Muslim site accused me in near-identical language of making “inflammatory and Islamophobic and incorrect statement” and “outrageous sweeping statements concerning the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims.”

This site has also created a template complaint about me which it advises its followers to cut and paste and send to Ofcom. This is thus an astroturf campaign – the term for something pretending to be a grass-roots movement when in reality it is nothing other than cynical manipulation.

Palestinians Praise Terror Attack

For many Palestinians, the stabbing murder of a 23-year-old Israeli Border Police officer in Jerusalem on June 16 is an act of “heroism” that proves that the “revolution against the Zionist entity will continue until the liberation of Palestine, from the (Mediterranean) sea to the (Jordan) river.”

For many Palestinians, the three terrorists who murdered the young woman, Hadas Malka, are “heroes” and “martyrs” who will be rewarded by Allah in Paradise.

President Mahmoud Abbas’s Palestinian Authority (PA), which is funded by Americans and Europeans, has once again chosen to maintain silence following a terror attack perpetrated by Palestinians. This silence of Abbas and his PA leadership, specifically their refusal to condemn the terror attack, can only be interpreted as an endorsement of the killing of Jews.
