New Hamas policy document “aims to soften image”

This is just smoke and mirrors: “war is deceit,” said Muhammad, and Hamas listened. “Hamas officials say the new document does not replace the group’s 1988 charter.” If that’s so, then this is just a new strategy to fool the Infidels and work toward the total destruction of Israel, which the 1988 charter calls for. And indeed, in this article they admit that: “The new document, which Hamas says does not replace the charter, accepts the establishment of a Palestinian state within territories occupied by Israel in 1967 as a stage towards the “liberation” of all of historic Palestine west of the River Jordan.”

Note also Hamas’ use of the notorious genocidal hadith: “The charter speaks of the need to fight ‘warmongering Jews’ and cites a hadith – a report of what the Prophet Muhammad said or approved – that declares ‘The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews).’”

Here is the fullest version of the hadith, which appears many times in shorter forms in the two hadith collections that Muslims consider most reliable, Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim:

“Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.” (Sahih Muslim 6985)

Please send me, as a comment to this page, any old material you have for inclusion in The Daily Joke Alert - to help enable us all to have our fancy tickled regularly! Never mind the state it's in as I tidy everything up prior to publication. Don't let good material go to waste - and so much does. In the interests of the environment we should always try to re-cycle everything, especially jokes. You know that makes sense! You may find some historical stuff here, but this does not really matter as humor is fairly timeless.
