Is Denmark a Sharia state now? Apparently.
“It is the prosecution’s view that circumstances involving the burning of holy books such as the Bible and the Quran can in certain cases be a violation of the blasphemy clause, which covers public scorn or mockery of religion.”
Yet public scorn or mockery of Christianity has gone unpunished in Denmark for decades; this is the first blasphemy prosecution in 46 years, and there is simply no doubt that there has been public scorn or mockery of Christianity in that span. Even worse, because Leftists and Islamic supremacists insist that any honest discussion of how jihadis use the teachings of Islam to justify violence and make recruits among peaceful Muslims is public scorn or mockery of Islam, the revival of blasphemy prosecutions could and probably will hinder effective public debate about and resistance to the jihad threat.
