Rally for Free Speech

Canada is on the verge of passing an anti-free speech motion that will bring our country one step closer to enshrining Islamic blasphemy laws!

This Thursday, the House of Commons will vote on the Liberal motion M-103.

Motion M-103 demands that the government not only condemn Islamophobia (without defining the term), but also demands that it develop a whole-of-government approach to reducing or eliminating Islamophobia.

The Canadian government is preparing to silence anyone who criticizes Islam. Their anti-Islamophobia motion resembles a kind of blasphemy law in favour of one preferred religion above all others.

This motion flies in the face of our legally enshrined Canadian rights and freedoms!

According to our charter of rights and freedoms — we’re all equal. Every individual (not a belief system or ideology) is equal before and under the law. We all have equal protections and benefit equally from the law.

We already launched a petition to protect our most precious right to free speech wich has over 30,000 signatures.

But now, Canadian patriots are asking us to go one step further.

This Wednesday, February 15, The Rebel is holding a rally in support of free speech and a stand against sharia law in this country — and you’re invited!

And more!

We cannot stand idly by as our freedoms are eroded by this Liberal government!

Please send me, as a comment to this page, any old material you have for inclusion in The Daily Joke Alert - to help enable us all to have our fancy tickled regularly! Never mind the state it's in as I tidy everything up prior to publication. Don't let good material go to waste - and so much does. In the interests of the environment we should always try to re-cycle everything, especially jokes. You know that makes sense! You may find some historical stuff here, but this does not really matter as humor is fairly timeless.
