Two State Solution Actually Four State Solution

Beyond the Cusp

The world is still calling for the mythical two state solution despite knowing that it is a complete myth. Israel has had this choice forced down their throats for years resulting in many compromises which negate any hope left for such as a two state solution. A two state solution was already attempted with the surrender of Gaza which is now a dysfunctional terrorist state run by Hamas and shared with Islamic Jihad, the same Islamic Jihad financed and allied with the Iranians who also are sometimes partners with Hamas as well. You know, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, a saying many in the Islamic world live by. So, even if it were possible to connive and wrangle a two state solution with Mahmoud Abbas, which is not possible but more on that later, that would still make a third state with Hamas and Israel as the…

The Saudis at the UN Human Rights Council

“My husband has been languishing in a Saudi prison since June 17th, 2012. Our children live with me in the city of Sherbrooke, Québec in Canada. They have not seen their father for five years now… On January 9, 2015, Raif received the first 50 lashes… Will members of the United Nations Human Rights Council join the European Parliament and ask for Raif’s release?”

Unfortunately, the UN members did not respond to this appeal by Ensaf Haidar, the fearless wife of the most famous blogger of the Arab world, the gentle Raif Badawi, imprisoned and flogged by the Saudis for his secular ideas. A few days after Ensaf’s appeal, the United Nations welcomed Badawi’s executioners, the Saudis, at the UN Human Rights Council. The Saudi representative, Abdulaziz Alwasil, will be decisive on three major issues at the UN Palace of Nations in Geneva: women, religious freedom and the system of justice.

What a great achievement for Saudi Arabia: The country flogs poets and bloggers, and its sheikhs have no other concern than filling their sumptuous palaces with wives and concubines, and then stoning them to death if they become “adulterous“. Saudi Arabia is where a Shiite cleric was publicly beheaded and where a Christian cannot wear a tunic or a cross.

The British government supported the Saudi bid to be re-elected at the Human Rights Council (British Prime Minister Theresa May was urged in vain to oppose the Saudi election to the Geneva body). The Obama Administration did the same: Samantha Powers, the U.S. ambassador at the UN, called the Saudi bid at the UN a “procedural position“.

Hillel Neuer, the director of UN Watch, captured the difference between realpolitik and the betrayal of Western values when he said: “Making an alliance with Stalin to stop Hitler is one thing; it’s quite another to say Stalin is a champion of human rights”.

A few days after the Saudi bid at the UN Human Rights Council, the Kingdom and the office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights held a two-day workshop in the Saudi capital to discuss the “evolution of the concept of human rights in the framework of international and regional human rights systems”. Evolution of the concept human rights? Ask Raif Badawi, he knows better than the UN bureaucrats.

Silly French Authorities

999999At the start of 2017 we’re still looking back at 2016.
Today’s cartoon is based on a story reported in many places including Israel National News:

Paris rejected Israeli software which could have stopped attack
Report claims anti-Israel boycott movement stopped France buying technology which could have prevented massacre.

A groundbreaking Israeli security system could have helped French authorities prevent the Paris massacre last November – but authorities balked at the deal under pressure from the anti-Israel boycott movement.
Speaking to Fox News, an Israeli counter-terrorism source with intimate knowledge of both the software involved and the deal itself said that after the Charlie Hebdo and Hyper Cacher attack the previous January an Israeli company offered to provide French authorities with special terrorist-tracking software, which could well have enabled them to flag the ISIS terrorist network operating under their noses. But although the French were initially very keen on the idea, they ultimately rejected it, the source said. “French authorities liked it, but the official came back and said there was a higher-level instruction not to buy Israeli technology,” he told Fox News.

“The discussion just stopped.” The technology enables intelligence agencies to “connect the dots”, by aggregating and analyzing fragmented intelligence from multiple sources to provide a clear, comprehensive assessment. It has already been shared with the US and other Israeli allies, and helps to pinpoint terror suspects and other persons of interest to investigators. The source claimed it could well have helped stop the Paris attacks, and potentially the more recent Brussels attacks as well, which were carried out by the same ISIS terror network”.more

  • AFDI calls careful investigation of Muslims resident in non-Muslim country who have obtained naturalized citizenship or permanent residency status, to ensure that that status was not obtained under false pretenses.

PA threatens to cut US ties, turn to UN if US embassy moves to Jerusalem

Appeasement of jihadists and jihadist states does not work. It strengthens their resolve against the House of War and weakens democratic interests and those of human rights.

History and hard archeological evidence proves Israel’s full right to its land. History also reveals Israel’s need to defend itself against obliteration by jihadist thugs and the necessity of ignoring and rejecting the global voices that strengthen jihadists against it.

As much as every Westerner wants peace, jihadists do not. It’s time that the West stops appeasing jihadists while hoping for peace in return. The Arab Muslim states that surround Israel have repeatedly tried to destroy Israel militarily. Nor is the jihad imperative limited to Israel. “First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people” is an accurate description of jihadist ambitions. Thus the news that Nasser al-Kidwa, a Fatah central committee member, has threatened to downgrade US ties if America moves its embassy to Jerusalem, should come as no surprise. America can, in fact, expect more conflict with jihad entities now that Obama’s policy of appeasement has ended. But appeasement leads only to full surrender.

President Mahmoud Abbas, added that the Palestinian leadership should also declare, in the event that US President Donald Trump follows through with his campaign promise to move the embassy, that the US is no longer a broker in the Middle East peace process and turn to the UN.
