Sorry, dear readers, but I’ve been indisposed since Christmas with a respiratory condition. Starting to improve now though.

Please send me, as a comment to this page, any old material you have for inclusion in The Daily Joke Alert - to help enable us all to have our fancy tickled regularly! Never mind the state it's in as I tidy everything up prior to publication. Don't let good material go to waste - and so much does. In the interests of the environment we should always try to re-cycle everything, especially jokes. You know that makes sense! You may find some historical stuff here, but this does not really matter as humor is fairly timeless.

  1. I should have sent a message before, but was wondering if you were OK….I had a horrible respiratory condition last October, and thought I was dying…..but I seem to have recovered and hope that you do to…Janet:)

    • Too sweet, dear Janet. Just getting back from the dying stage but think I must have had the sore throat of the century in the process!

      • I really feel for you….As I say las year, I thought I would be moving onto the next zone….:) it was that bad….but I do seem to have recovered, and here’s to your full recovery Janet. :)x

      • Sorry you had also to suffer and wonder what caused that; glad you feel so much better now.. I think my episode was caused on NY day, by a prolonged wait on the airport apron, in a cold wind, in shirt sleeves waiting to board a plane. Am comforted you think there is a ‘next zone’! 🙂 xx
