David Cameron warns Britain’s future is at stake in most important election in a generation

Mortgages will rise, businesses will be crushed and the international markets will take fright if Ed Miliband wins power in the general election in 200 days’ time, David Cameron has warned.

Writing for The Telegraph, the Prime Minister declares that Britain’s prosperity is at stake in the most important election “for a generation” because a government led by Mr Miliband would lead the country to ruin.

As the countdown to polling day begins, Mr Cameron urges voters to give the Tories a majority because a vote for the UK Independence Party could put Labour in power and see “a great nation slipping back into decline”.

Please send me, as a comment to this page, any old material you have for inclusion in The Daily Joke Alert - to help enable us all to have our fancy tickled regularly! Never mind the state it's in as I tidy everything up prior to publication. Don't let good material go to waste - and so much does. In the interests of the environment we should always try to re-cycle everything, especially jokes. You know that makes sense! You may find some historical stuff here, but this does not really matter as humor is fairly timeless.
