Loving Your Husband

12There was a group of women gathered at a seminar on how to live in a loving relationship with your husband.

The women were asked, “How many of you love your husbands?”

All the women raised their hands. Then they were asked, “When was the last time you told your husband you loved him?”

Some women answered today, some yesterday, some didn’t remember …

The women were then told to take their cell phones and send the following text to their respective husband: “I love you, sweetheart.”

Then the women were told to exchange phones and read the responding text messages

Here are some of the replies:

1. Eh, mother of my 5 children, are you sick?

2. What now? Did you crash the car again?

3. I don’t understand what you mean?

4. What did you do now? I won’t forgive you this time!!!

5. Whats wrong?!?

6. Don’t beat about the bush, just tell me how much you need?

7. Deyyy Am I dreaming?????????

8. If you don’t tell me who this message is actually for, you will die today…!!!

9. I told you not to drink anymore right!!

Upcoming blockbuster Hollywood film ‘Noah’ starring Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, and Emma Watson has been prohibited from screening in Egypt and the Arab World.

According to the film’s website, Russell Crowe stars as Noah in the film “inspired by the epic story of courage, sacrifice and hope.”

Good News Friday

Anne's Opinions

Another week has flown by and it’s time for my next Good News Friday installment.

My first item for this week comes from Israel’s much-vaunted bio-medical sector. Tel Aviv University researchers have found a new way to fight ovarian cancer:

… Prof. Dan Peer of Tel Aviv University’s Department of Cell Research and Immunology has proposed a new strategy to tackle an aggressive subtype of ovarian cancer using a new nanoscale drug-delivery system designed to target specific cancer cells. He and his team have devised a cluster of nanoparticles called gagomers, made of fats and coated with a kind of polysugar. When filled with chemotherapy drugs, these clusters accumulate in tumors, producing dramatically therapeutic benefits.

The objective of Peer’s research is two-fold: to provide a specific target for anti-cancer drugs to increase their therapeutic benefits, and to reduce the toxic side effects of anti-cancer therapies. The study was published…

The News AIPAC Will Not Hear From Netanyahu

Beyond the Cusp

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is currently in the United States where he met with President Obama where it is assumed he was heavily pressured to announce and enact a building freeze and anything else that Abbas whines and demands while President Obama hurries to satisfy. Netanyahu will then address the AIPAC Conference where he will avoid giving any news that would be overly depressing while reaching extremes to sound a positive and hopeful picture. Where the Prime Minister might recount about some of the terrorist acts suffered by Jewish residents, especially those living beyond the Green Line but will he also mention the spread of terrorist attacks on Jews in Jerusalem and even of late in Tel Aviv. Will the Prime Minister speak of the rock attacks and the fact that in too many incidents there have been infants and children below four years old with at least one fatality…

Obama’s fantasy based foreign policy is untenable in our dangerous world.

Life in a world of fantasy can often be pleasant for small children.
For adults, it is far more dangerous.

On March 2nd, the Editorial Board of the often left-leaning Washington Post published an editorial titled President Obama’s foreign policy is based on fantasy. It was not written by a “right wing nut.” According to a sidebar,

Editorials represent the views of The Washington Post as an institution, as determined through debate among members of the editorial board. News reporters and editors never contribute to editorial board discussions, and editorial board members don’t have any role in news coverage. [Emphasis added.]

The editorial notes, among other things,

FOR FIVE YEARS, President Obama has led a foreign policy based more on how he thinks the world should operate than on reality. It was a world in which “the tide of war is receding” and the United States could…
