You Better Explain

1There was this couple that was married for 10 years, and had a fine sex life, with one exception – every time they made love the husband always insisted on shutting off the lights all the way.

Well, at first it wasn’t so annoying, but after 20 years of marriage the wife felt this was stupid. She figured she would break him out of the crazy habit.

So one night, while they were in the middle of a romantic session, she turned on the lights.

She looked down and saw her husband was holding a specially made pleasure device. She got very angry. “You impotent bastard!” she screamed at him, “how could you be lying to me all these years? You better explain yourself!”

The husband looks her straight in the eyes and says calmly, “I’ll explain the toy if you explain the kids.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday laid out two major foreign policy challenges facing his administration — avoiding a binational state encompassing Israel and the Palestinians, and preventing a future Palestinian state from becoming an Iranian proxy.

“Half of Palestinian society is dominated by Iran’s proxy,” he said in an apparent reference to the Hamas regime in the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu made the statements during an address at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

\”It [the new face of anti-Semitism] targets the Jewish people by targeting Israel…. What else can we call criticism that selectively concerns only the Jewish state and effectively denies its right to exist, to defend itself, while systematically ignoring or excusing the violence and oppression all around it?\” — Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada

Historic Islamic Art Museum “Completely Destroyed”

Egyptian Streets

Egypt’s Minister of Antiquities has announced that Cairo’s Islamic Art Museum has been “completely destroyed,” in a moment of anger and frustration.

The Minister’s statements came after a car bomb exploded outside the Museum and the Security Directorate, killing five and injuring more than 80. The explosion was one of three in Cairo today, with one killed at a Metro Station in Dokki.

While the extent of the damage is not yet clear, the Minister was earlier quoted as saying the damage is in the “tens of millions of dollars,” but vowed to restore the Museum and any antiquities that remain.

The Islamic Art Museum in Cairo houses one of the most extensive and important collections of Islamic art in the world. The Museum displays priceless Islamic art work from all periods of Islamic history, including one of the rarest copies of the Quran.

Until 2010, the Museum had been closed for…

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s attempts to foster better ties with the West are only a deception, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday, trying to put a damper on a seemingly moderate speech by the Iranian leader at the World Economic Forum earlier in the day.

Netanyahu, who is also at the summit in Davos, Switzerland, gave his own address on Thursday afternoon.

In an immediate response to Rouhani’s speech, Netanyahu said that the Iranian president was continuing “Iran’s deception show” and that the international community “must not be fooled and must prevent Iran from attaining…
