Artist Teams Up with 4-year-old Daughter and Draws Something Amazing



Mica Angela Hendricks is an illustrator and graphic artist. She’s also the mother to an adorable 4-year-old girl, who like her mom, loves to draw. On her blog, the busy mockingbird, Hendricks explains how she had recently drawn a face in her sketchbook but had not yet completed the body.

She decided let her daughter draw the body, and she promptly drew a dinosaur’s. A mythical creature was born, with the face of a woman and the body of a dinosaur. It was striking, it was carefree and the contrasting styles complimented each other beautifully.

Hendricks would continue to collaborate with her daughter and her unfettered imagination. Human faces with the body of a dragon or beaver, anything was possible.
