Morsi supporters in Nasr City to be dispersed

Tens of thousands of Morsi supporters gathered in the heart of Cairo’s Nasr City will soon be dispersed according to information received by Egyptian Streets.

Egypt’s Armed Forces, the Ministry of Interior and the General Intelligence Service are currently planning the dispersion, which should come “very soon,” a security source told Egyptian Streets on the condition of anonymity.

The source stated that the sit-in by the Morsi supporters in Rabaa Al-Adaweya has hampered local business, disturbed residents, created traffic chaos in the area, and that “there is a limit to peaceful protests…anywhere in the world, you cannot shut down a major intersection for weeks or even days at a time.”
