The Daily Joke Alert

WELCOME

Please send me, as a comment to this page, any old material you have for inclusion in The Daily Joke Alert – to help enable us all to have our fancy tickled regularly!

Never mind the state it’s in as I tidy everything up prior to publication.

Don’t let good material go to waste – and so much does. In the interests of the environment we should always try to re-cycle everything, especially jokes. You know that makes sense! You may find some historical stuff here, but this does not really matter as humor is fairly timeless.

The rest of the contents are self evident except perhaps for the Re-blogs section. This is intended to re-direct you to blogs displaying humor, wonderful images, witty prose, interesting facts; together with those aimed at highlighting minority causes whose logical cases appear, sometimes for obscure reasons, to be generally misunderstood – (and I’m not Jewish by the way!).

On the religious front, it seems extremely unlikely to me that any god capable of creating the universe and mankind, would be so shallow as to gain any level of satisfaction from being the recipient of continuous, daily worship by billions throughout eternity.

However, if this requirement, controlling the minutiae of our lives and the subjugation of women, was to be thought of as mandatory it could have been so easily achieved with just a click of the fingers; no external compulsion being necessary. Women are not just equal to men – very often they are superior.

Your comments are always welcome and will be answered.

Thank you – Oyia Brown.

(PS. Whilst every attempt is made to strip all mature content from material shown in these pages jokes often lack an edge, if totally sanitized. Nothing will be published to shock or be more coarse than necessary.)

    • I cannot tell you how touched – though totally undeserving – I am. Thank you so much for this honor and for all the wonderful material you so consistently provide. I will have to study the protocol now as soon as I can.

      • Hi, thanks for your kind words! You don’t have to hurry; as the award is for helping bloggers; not for hurrying them :)

  1. I have nominated your blog for the “Shine On” award for blogging. Please accept this honor in recognition of your excellent blog. Visit the site at the end of this message to read the rules and responsibility of accepting this award.

    • I just want to thank you so much for your generous nomination which is totally undeserved.

I am just at an extremely time consuming phase and may not have time to investigate the protocol of this for a little while.

      i am so very grateful.

      • Well, I just wanted you to know how I appreciate the encouragement and leadership you give by re-blogging so many other bloggers’ posts. You are a very influential blogger as well as a very humble one. Thanks for your hard work and keeping us all informed.
        Blessings, Anne

    • I am just totally delighted you would kindly nominate me for this award and am totally lost for words. I keep trying to find time to follow the protocol but will get there in the end. Thank you so very much.

    • Your comments always have an interesting twist and are always welcome. Thank you for this kind gesture for which I am totally unworthy.

    • You are most generous.I have not yet mastered the protocol for dealing with award nominations (am probably slow witted!) However, a nominee seemed to mean a candidate – so does this mean all on the list are winners? Thank you once again. (By the way, I am not a she! (probably an it!)) Keep up all your good work.

      • Oh darlin’ I’m sorry for the error. I will correct that right away. An it is fine. You can be whatever you want to be in the sphere. Just go to my page to find out how to do your own nominations. And if you don’t want to accept it, you don’t have to. That’s perfectly fine. ;-)

      • You are unreservedly forgiven! I most certainly do want to accept your nomination – there is no doubt about that. Thanks again.

  4. Thank you for visiting my blog and reposting some of my articles. I’ve subscribed here and find your blog a great site to read and visit. Thank you all of your hard work and caring.

      • Sorry about the delay. I have left a comment on your site to thank you for your very kind nomination – unfortunately, from my perspective, it does not appear to have been recorded. Perhaps it has from yours. Please let me know. Thank you.

    • I am sorry – I missed the significance of your comment. Thank you you so much for this nomination. i am not sure what the protocoll is and will have to look it up ASAP. Hope your difficulties are coming to an end. Thanks.

    • Hello Nightshade130,
You are so extremely kind and I’m left overwhelmed.
I’m not sure how these awards work, but I am so grateful for your nomination.
My WP facility for leaving comments on the blogs of others, for some reason, does not work. Though I seem to be leaving the comment, at my end, the comment is not registered at the other; my lack of apparent response probably makes me appear a little ignorant.
I have not yet discovered how to contact the WP Forum to ask about this and have had very little time.
I must get this sorted out.
Thanks for all your Likes and Comments.
